Product Description
Many people believe in the Power of Positive Thinking, but no one has succeeded in credibly explaining how mere thoughts can tangibly influence physical nature and/or alter future occurrences. To explain the connection, this book presents a new paradigm of nature and couples it with a convincing explanation of how our right brain hemispheres have a unique capacity to tap into the hidden domain of the metaphysical. To support this premise, the reader is lightly expos… More >>
Ordaining Reality Made Easy: A Guide for Creating the Future

When I buy a nonfiction book I am seeking information. When I buy a self-help book I am seeking motivation and real, usable instructions for achieving my desires. Based on these criteria, this book scores higher than anything within this genre I have ever read. It will fill you with information and data that you may have thought of, but never knew. At least that’s true in may case. Then it will show you how to use that information to help make your desired future a reality. It comes in two flavors, the original which seems to be suited for folks who either have a highly inquisitive mind or a background in science. The simpler one looks to be about a third shorter and it’s less technical. However, even this simpler one is packed with an enormous vault of information. I thoroughly enjoyed this version, but I had a little background in science to start with. In my humble opinion this subject matter begs for a third edition for folks who just want the veneer of the facts behind how thoughts change the future, and then jump into the useful exercises. That is the best part. That said, I don’t think people will get lost as you can freely jump over some more technical parts and the author summarizes them anyway. The key, though, is that this information is important to learn as it explains how thoughts actually influence events.

Hi, I am a self-help junky. You name it; I’ve read it and probably bought it. I am not ashamed of being a self-help junky, but I am sick and tired of people with backgrounds in science, and especially physics, telling me that influencing the future with positive thought is nothing but a scam. They say that there is no connection between hoping or wishing something will happen and influencing it to occur. They say it’s all coincidence. Although I believe in this power and have for years, I always seemed to lose this argument when they threw a bunch of facts and figures at me. Basically, although I know I’m right, I had no response to these doubting scientific types. Well, now I do. I finished this book about a week ago and lent it to one of my doubting, pooh-poohing friends (actually, an ex-boyfriend I still talk to) as my proof. He went through it in a few days and I am pleased, and given his stubborn nature, a bit surprised to report that it has had quite an impact on him. Yesterday he told me he ordered the original unabridged version (suitable for people like him who want all the details I gather). Now when we talk we discuss the power to ordain reality rather than argue about it being real or not. It has changed our conversation topics and maybe our lives. Not a bad two-fer I’d say.

I bought and just finished this “simplified” edition. I’m a reader who saw some information on the original version, read up on it and was tempted to buy it; however, I was put off by its large size and what, for me, seemed as overly scientific, not to mention that it was about $40. I’m glad I waited for this version. Trust me, this, as another reader accurately contrasted, is no “airplane novel”. I’m glad I didn’t try to get through the first one (a friend of mine did, but he’s into science). I’m glad I bought this one. I believe strongly in the power of positive thinking, but I’ve often wondered how thinking or having a feeling about something could influence other people or make other events happen. Now, thanks to the information in this book, I can see a direct connection between thoughts and events. Let me say, though, even this smaller version is pretty encompassing. The author presents a lot of facts, but then he ties them into a pretty neat package that shows the connection. What I liked was that, although I didn’t really want to know all these facts, l can now see how they relate. I also feel a lot smarter. Really, though, the reason anyone should buy this book is to help them make their future come true. I can honestly say that it’s the only book I’ve ever read that can lay serious claim to this objective.

My boyfriend finished reading the original, unabridged version of this book about a month ago and he talks about it…a lot. He thought that I would not be able to get through that version as it’s pretty long so he recommended this new shortened version that just came out. I read it in three sessions over five days. It took him about six weeks to get through his version! We can now discuss it together. This book is not an “airplane novel”, but I followed it fine. I went fast, so I will probably reread some parts. I don’t know where to begin. It talks about physics, metaphysics, how our brains interpret each and a host of other topics that I find fascinating. Most important it explains how books like The Secret and The Law of Attraction, which I also recently read, actually do what they say can be done. We are both doing the simple meditation exercises in the last chapter. All I can say is Wow. This is a book you read then talk about for a long time. It should be on Oprah or some such show.

I just finished this edition. I read the earlier one too. Well, sort of. I did finish it the original version and I followed most of it, but I wanted a refresher because I became re-interested in what it discusses after I was checking the buzz about the book on an Amazon Discussion I happened to be following. I bought the first (and this) because I specifically wanted to know how thoughts can actually change events one way or the other. This smaller version is about ten bucks less so I feel better about making this second investment. No doubt the smaller one would have been a better choice for me if it had been available when I bought the original. That said, even this so-called “abridged version” is packed with enough information to make a strong case that thoughts are real and they do effect things. I’m not a physicist, so I can’t say that the author is right about everything he writes, but I have enough general knowledge to say that it really made sense to me. If either version of this book is right, it’s a watershed breakthrough. It actually explains nature in a new way that not only links thoughts to events but shows that the future is virtually dependent on thoughts. I started down this path after reading the Secret, which took about two-three days to finish. It excited me, but then I thought about it more. It really never explained how just thinking makes things happen. This is precisely the missing link that this book covers. If you’re as curious as I am, get it. Oh, and, unless you have a lot of background in science, a lot of time on your hands, or a lot of money in your wallet, save yourself some time and money and get this shorter version.
