We all use them. Gray words, that is. Can just changing a few words be enough to change your life when applying the Law of Attraction intentionally? The words themselves aren’t the problem, it’s the emotions and attitudes attached to the words that you think and speak that ultimately make the difference.

Here’s an example. So you say, “Can I try to help you?” When you offer help and it comes from a wonderful thought, the word try isn’t an issue because the emotion and attitude that is connected to the thoughts are pure.

How about this one, “I am trying to get my business off the ground.” In this case, the word trying has emotion and attitude attached to maybe you will get your business off the ground. Maybe and try are the same meaning in the Law of Attraction when it is attached with feelings of “it might work” which in fact is saying that you don’t want to commit to feelings of trust and expectation from the Universe. Using the words maybe or try is the ‘gray area’ of the black or white equation; the gray area of yes or no, and the gray area of want or don’t want. When maybe or try are used within your thought processes and are attached to the feelings of the non committal or pre failure then you are going to want to change your way of thought and feeling.

By consciously making a decision to check on what your true feelings are when using certain words, you can trample the gray area roadblocks that can totally get in the way of obtaining what it is that you desire.

After you have consciously checked your true feelings and have corrected them, begin to use a whole new vocabulary that reflects your new positive self. Replace the word try with the word can. I can get my business off the ground. I can find that perfect relationship for myself. I can lose the weight. By just changing that one little word, you are changing what you are putting out to the Universe.

You quickly sound like a more confident person that trusts and expects the Universe to bring what you have asked for. When you begin to feel the can is when you really start things in motion.

Be aware of the words that have emotion attached to them. Try is just one example of a word that sits in the gray area of want and don’t want.

Keep a gray word log for the day and find out how many times you tell the Universe that you think and feel that maybe you trust and expect. Also keep a log of what would be an alternate thought and feeling to replace that gray word with. By doing this, you will be able to change your thought and emotional patterns and break through any barriers that you may have unintentionally put up.

The Universe is here for you, and for every living thing on this planet. By learning how to apply the Law of Attraction intentionally, life will go much smoother for you and your family.

Have you wondered where that perfect someone is for you? Have you just been waiting for him or her to enter your life? Well, wait no more. You have all the tools, right now, to find your mate and here are some answers for using the tools that you already possess through the Law of Attraction.

Instead of waiting for them to enter in your life, attract them to you. In order to find your mate, you want to take inventory on what kind of mate you want. Get yourself a piece of paper and start with an inventory list. Write down every quality that you would like in that perfect someone. The physical attributes aren’t important at the moment. Is your mate adventuresome, quiet, humorous, enjoys movies? Anything that you can think of, write it down.

Once you take inventory, create a clear image of your soon-to-be mate. Here’s a tip: If you have a certain someone in mind, make sure that when you create your image, you go with substance over fluff. When you concentrate on the true qualities, the Universe will attract someone to you who is just as you envisioned. When you emit strong thoughts and feelings about a particular person as the clear image, there is a possibility that the certain someone doesn’t possess all the qualities that you asked for. The Universe knows every living human being and what their qualities are. Even if someone seems to match your image from a quality level, you really don’t know if they truly match. Only the Universe does, and you don’t want to micro manage the Universe. The Universe will bring you someone that is just as you envision. And who knows, it could be that certain someone but leave it up to the Universe to find the right choice for you.

So now you have this great clear image of your mate. What do you do now?

Take your clear image minus the specific physical features and find yourself a quiet spot to visualize. Close your eyes and see in your mind your perfect mate with all of the qualities you wrote down earlier. See yourself with this person; going places together, having dinner together, whatever you would want to do on a date or in a relationship. Feel the serenity that comes with having someone who is exactly how you envisioned. See yourself together. Hear him or her telling you how much they care about you. Use every sense that you can to create an image of having them right now. Spend at least five minutes on creating your image. After you have had an incredible visualization session, see yourself letting the image go to the Universe and then… truly let it go. Releasing control over finding your mate is essential. Trust the Universe to bring this image to you.

Every evening, visualize and let go and trust the Universe. Make sure that you don’t put any negative feelings toward the image you created because that will only bring you negative. Make sure not to put any impatient feelings toward your image. The Universe will bring you who you desire in the time required. Again, let’s not micro manage the Universe. Your job is to stick to your clear image and visualize and let the Universe take care of the how through the Law of Attraction.

The next step is to be aware because the Universe is going to start bringing you signs that it is taking care of your desire. This sign may manifest as an encouraging ‘thumbs up’ or this sign may be a sign from the Universe to take action. Here’s an example: You meet your best friend’s new boyfriend and he happens to possess eighty percent of the qualities you want in a mate. This is a sign of encouragement from the Universe to you. The Universe is telling you that it is working on your mate and it is eighty percent there. See how it works? Then there is the sign of action. You go to lunch with your best friend whose boyfriend’s cousin is in town and she wants to know if you would do her a favor and double date. This could be the Universe giving you a sign of action because maybe this is the one. Just make sure you are aware of your surroundings and the signs that the Universe sends to you.

So you see, you have all the tools to bring your mate to you through the Law of Attraction. How wonderful is that?

Sometimes finding a perfect affirmation, just for you, can be a little hard. Here are some great money abundance affirmations that we have used in the past or that other Law of Attraction practitioners have e-mailed to us.

The Universe is unlimited. There is more than enough abundance for everyone in this world. When you start intentionally applying the Law of Attraction, a great affirmation is necessary, and feeling confident in your affirmation is imperative. You want to be able to feel and believe it to be absolutely true. Many people have a mindset of “lack.” A good money affirmation can help jump the hurdle of thinking from a space of “lack.”

You’ll also want to find an affirmation that feels attainable. If you choose an affirmation that your logical mind can’t even fathom could happen, then it won’t happen because the Universe will pick up on that thought and feeling. You can start with something small and when that feels attainable take another step toward a larger affirmation. When you take these baby steps your logical mind will become used to the idea of having everything you want, and you will become comfortable with your affirmation.

When you have discovered the money affirmation that works best for you, you’ll want to focus on and say it at least five times a day. Make sure to give your affirmation the attention that it deserves. Close your eyes and feel the words leave your lips. Treat the words like a sacred incantation; that when you speak the words, the Universe drops everything and rushes exactly what you are affirming to you.

Make sure that you do not ‘outgrow’ your affirmation. When you feel like the original affirmation just isn’t doing it for you, change to something that reflects your growing positive thoughts and feelings. And when your affirmation has completely aligned with the Universe, you’ll want to bump it up a notch to reflect your newfound life.

Britney Spears. Oh the tongue-wagging that goes on in supermarket checkout lines these days as moms across America breathe a collective sigh, thankful (with the possible exception of the fame and the money) that Miss Spears is somebody else’s problem. Thankful that their daughters, while troublesome in their own right, haven’t reached the melting point of a Spears kid. (Little sister Jamie Lynn, 16, is reportedly expecting another little Spears.)

Aren’t we just full of ourselves; such great parents are we!

And didn’t you just love it when Momma Spears got her parenting book unceremoniously yanked from publication? Oh, the irony.

The most ironic thing, however, has absolutely nothing to do with the Spears family and what we perceive to be (actually, judge) their shortcomings. As a society, we are collectively making sport of their pain and are gleefully judging each failing move they make in order to validate and overlook our own mistake-filled worlds. This is classic Law of Attraction, but not in a good way.

Britney can be forgiven. She is a child who has grown up in a spotlight of cruelty, as everyone from the media, bus drivers, foreign governments, and fast food workers have “scornfully” weighed in on every negative stumble she has taken, impatient for the next chapter. It’s all nothing more than a heaping Roman helping of bread and circuses to them; to Britney Spears, it is her life.

So who or what is a Britney Spears? She is, like any of us, a product of all that surrounds her. She is human, and she is hurting. She is immature and foolish sometimes, and her demons are worn upon her sleeve for all to see. This makes her more honest than most. She tries, but without a level support system, she oftentimes fails. (That’s the part we like; it makes us feel so much better about ourselves!)

Britney Spears, besides fighting a hostile media and disingenuousness all around her, is also fighting a terrible disease. Whether she wins the fight, or is too tired to fight any longer, she remains in the boxing ring of alcoholism and drug abuse. I don’t think she even tries to hide it anymore.

We would look at her (judge her) in an entirely different light were she afflicted with cancer or leukemia; you know, an approvable disease. But no matter how much the medical field classifies substance abuse as a disease, it is still looked down upon and only becomes a disease when it is our own, or someone’s we care about.

So what is the answer, both for Britney as well as for us? Because to suggest the insatiable thirst of enjoying ringside seats with the downfall of the Spears family as the main event as anything but a two-way street is completely dishonest. We need Britney to fall, just as much as she needs us to take her by the hand and help her off the ground. Left to its own devices, this scenario has just one end, and look no farther than Anna Nicole Smith or Elvis if you want to know what that is. Then, when that happens, we’ll all enjoy 24-hour news cycle coverage as we again cluck our tongues and judge some more.

There is another alternative, however. And it will salve both sides of this sick fence.

The Law of Attraction promises that whatever we desire, as long as the feelings and thoughts are directed and true, that the Universe will provide us with whatever we want.

We have all wanted what we have gotten with the ongoing Spears train wreck, and this is true on both sides. We have attracted this, and so has Britney, her sister, their mother, all of the boyfriends, and all of the hangers-on who have profited from their misery. We have all been excellent attractors, and continue to do so as the game gets ratcheted up to the point that the next stop will be the Los Angeles County Coroners Office. How many have thought when Britney has permanently left the stage, Jamie Lynn Spears is waiting in the wings to assume the starring role. Haven’t we all had enough of this?

We deserve better of ourselves, and those two wonderful girls and their families deserve better, too. Let’s stop this now. We collectively created it; can we not turn it around and each enjoy life as it is meant to be enjoyed?

It’s not too late, and if by providence the Spears sisters read this article, please, girls, take your power back and refuse to be a part of this putrid pantomime and live! Live your lives and focus on your wonderful babies, your most beautiful creations ever. Use what the Universe gave you and live the Law of Attraction in a positive way. You’ve already proven how talented you are when it comes to manifesting the Law of Attraction; now it’s time to use it positively and reclaim your lives.

We can also want this for them, can’t we? We can want and think and feel the thoughts that will help them manifest this wonderful gift. Can’t we do that for them? And if not for them, can’t we wish it for their children?

So you’re just living your wonderful Law of Attraction life and…bingo! You start to have one of those days. You can’t even imagine that you created such a day for yourself but here it is, staring you in the face. The kids are sick, the dog just threw up on the carpet, and your boss is calling you every five minutes to find out when are you going to be there. Here are a few tips on how to handle one of those days the Law of Attraction way.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. When a day comes where you simply can’t fathom that you had anything to do with attracting, relax and don’t blame yourself. Somewhere along the line some thoughts and emotions of yours created this particular day, but by just recognizing that, you can change your future days. The key is how you handle this one. Pamper yourself. Listen to some music that will put you in a better emotional space, or find yourself a treat and just spoil yourself.

Ride the rest of the day with balance. If you can’t get happy, just ride out the day. Stay in a zone where you can remain as serene as possible. When something seemingly bad happens, don’t react. Does this mean you have to be an unemotional stone? No, just don’t react to your day. Stay as centered as possible and let it all roll off your back.

Grab a small notebook and write a thankful log. Find things to be thankful for. This will raise up your vibrations and help you pull out of your hard day. Write down each thankful thought you have. It can be as simple as that you had enough milk for the cereal that morning. Find anything to be thankful for and you will see that there is good in your day.

Change the outcome. When you have unwanted experiences over and over again in the same day, and you would love to change them, then change them. Revisit the experiences in your mind and change them into how you would have wanted them to have turned out. This will help the Universe to realize that you are changing all the ‘hard’ in your days and will imagine them better. The Universe will pick up on this and your future days will be ‘hard’ free.

Find little signs from the Universe that, even though you are having a tough day, prove the Universe is still working on your desires. Signs and indicators are a great way to know that you are not alone. The Universe is there to provide all that you desire as long as you focus on what it is that you want. The Universe will provide what you focus on, even if it is a ‘don’t want’ but it is always there to give you what you focus on. Do your best to start your day over again if it seems to be starting out rough. You can start your day over and over again throughout a day. You can always have a great day if you make the conscious effort to have a wonderful day.

And if you just can’t seem to pick yourself up, float. Instead of swimming against the current just stop swimming and float into a space that you are comfortable with; a place where your desires await you. Just relax and let go, because as you know tomorrow is another day to create and the Law of Attraction will always help you out with creation.

Concentrate on the good days versus your hard days, and you will soon notice many more good days. And your hard days will disappear through Law of Attraction application.

When applying the Law of Attraction, it always comes back to you and your perception. Everything and everyone you encounter in your life, you have intentionally or unintentionally attracted into your world.

You may be saying to yourself, “There is no way that I attracted that mean old man who yelled at me for passing him on the road.” Believe it or not, at some time you produced an emotion that attracted that experience to you. And it didn’t take just one thought and one feeling to cause the experience to attract to you. It came from a repetitious thought and feeling over time. Everything that comes into your world is always attracted from a thought and feeling that you are possessing or have possessed.

When you experience a day when everyone seems to mirror the same kind of mood, whether crabby or happy, frustrated or serene, take a look at yourself. People who are in your life whether for just a moment or everyday, are a reflection of what or who you are attracting. All that we are, in fact, is a direct result of what we have thought.

Is there any control over where our lives are lead through the Law of Attraction? Yes, there is. Begin to take responsibility for your life. Realize that you have created everything that is in your life, and that it is just as easy to create a life that you want.

By looking at what is around you, you are able to tell what direction you are headed through the people that come into your life, and by how you react to them. You can also tell which direction you are headed by the situations that seem to be attracting to you as well.

Let’s say you have been maintaining a clear image of a fulfilling relationship. During your visualization time you continually get interrupted by some negative feelings and thoughts of your old flame, and his or her bad habits, but you continue to visualize.

The next week you discover your e-dating service connects someone who is interested in meeting you. So you hook up the date and you go and meet him/her. Ten minutes into the date you realize that she/he is just like your old flame.

Now this is pretty obvious. By what you are attracting you are not heading in the right direction. Sure, you were visualizing clearly but with muddled feelings of an old relationship thrown into the stew pot. The Universe is letting you know that you are attracting what you are thinking and feeling and this is what you are attracting. The great thing about this scenario is that you receive a clear indicator that you want to build some better feelings and thoughts for your clear image.

Be aware of what the Universe is telling you and indicating to you and adjust your thoughts and feelings accordingly. Every incident, every person, every circumstance all comes back to you.

Take your clear image and create clearer, more wonderful feelings to go with that image. When you leave behind all the past events and people that have had a negative pull on your life, you will attract people free of that negative pull. But you must first start with yourself. Take inventory of what feelings and thoughts you want as much as the ones you don’t, and stick to a clear image. Then take notes from the Universe when it shows you that you have attracted something you don’t want.

Become clearer in your image and feelings of what you do want. You can’t go wrong if you listen and see the indicators that the Universe gives as it steers you to where you want to be. The Law of Attraction never fails.

Can forgiving someone help you to apply the Law of Attraction intentionally?

Do you have someone that you have a hard time with? Maybe someone who is always late every time you see them? They end up being at least an hour late no matter what the situation. You have a hard time forgiving them for being late and you start to build resentment. All these strong feelings are signaling the Universe to bring you similar feelings back to you. In this case, a resentful feeling. Not forgiving someone can actually slow down the process of obtaining what you want through the Law of Attraction.

Twelve years ago a traumatic experience happened to me. Someone tried to strangle me. The hardest part of this experience was that it was a family member (by marriage) who tried to end my life. At the time, he was on testosterone and had an undiagnosed bi-polar/schizophrenic condition. But even so, this incident traumatized me and my then eleven year old daughter. We handled it as best we could while getting restraining orders, going to the doctor, filling out police paperwork, and taking my daughter to a counselor to help her through the scary experience of seeing her own mother strangled. I had been sheltered by my parents all my life and nothing like this had ever happened in our family. This was no time for forgiveness.

This incident happened before I understood the Law of Attraction and forgiveness was not on my list. My brother-in-law went to jail and I figured my sister would leave him after she saw what he was capable of. I didn’t need to forgive him; he wouldn’t enter into my world ever again. I was wrong. He served his time and my sister went straight back to him. This was something that I would have to deal with. He wasn’t leaving my life and I decided I was not going to be around my sister or her husband ever again.

Not long after this incident I began searching for answers in my life and found the Law of Attraction. What an incredible find! Here was the answer to attaining what I wanted in life.

To intentionally apply the Law of Attraction, I learned that I had to deconstruct who I was and my belief and behavior patterns and build brand new ones. This was going to be exciting. Then I realized that I was going to have to deal with ‘the incident’ and somehow rid myself of the feelings I was harboring.

The incident had left me feeling angry and hurt. My sister hurt me by going back to this man and I was angry with myself for not fighting back. I was hurt from the mental anguish it had caused my daughter, and me, not to mention the physical pain I had experienced after the attack. I felt like this man had taken some of my personal power away. So applying the Law of Attraction, while harboring all these feelings, was going to be an issue. I knew I had to lose the feelings and the only way I knew how was through forgiveness.

You see, it isn’t just about your forgiveness of another. When someone hurts you, it isn’t just you. It is your spouse, your children, your parents, and anyone who is close to you. When you have all those strong angry and hurt emotions it affects everyone. Not to mention instigating emotions of fear.

Apparently my brother in law got help for his bi-polar issues and he stopped the testosterone. This made it a little easier for me to remotely consider forgiveness. Who does the forgiveness help? Out of anyone, it helps the victim. Because once you forgive, you are no longer a victim. I decided that I was going to forgive him, but not the act. My logical mind could handle a little forgiveness for him but not for what he had done. This was a start.

But let me tell you this. When I completely forgave the act and the person, I felt like a new woman. I no longer felt like a victim. I felt like I took my power back and not only that, I felt like I fought back by forgiving. When I released all the hurt and anger and decided I didn’t need it anymore, I could see clear once again. He had nothing on me. It took a little time to release the welled-up emotions but over time, I did.

No more anger flashes, no more hurt flashes. I ‘let go’ of this situation because I am no longer about the woman who was strangled. I am much more than that, and in order to get past that traumatic experience, I had to forgive for myself so that I could move on.

When you don’t forgive someone, you are only hurting yourself. All those angry, scared and hurt feelings are keeping you from being all that you can be in life. It doesn’t mean that you have to hang out with the offender, but it is important to get rid of those strong negative emotions; the ones that could be keeping you from your desires when too much focus is put toward the negative emotions.

Do you have someone you want to forgive?

It is freeing to forgive another, no matter what hurtful act was done. By truly forgiving someone you can move forward in your life. Get beyond ‘the incident’ and ‘let go’ of the strong negative feelings. Concentrate on who you really are and concentrate on your wonderful life without ‘the incident’. Don’t let ‘the incident’ be a crutch to enable you to feel bad. Become a forgiving person and you will soon find that it will be a lot easier manifesting your desires when applying the Law of Attraction.

So you are doing everything that you have read about in applying the Law of Attraction. You’re focusing on your wants and trying not to get upset with your everyday circumstances that just happen. You’re looking for every sign of encouragement that the Universe sends your way. You’re being as patient as you can and you’re visualizing ’til the cows come home. You’re mentally exhausted from watching every thought and feeling that you come across. Now what?

Many people actually feel this way. They try so hard to apply the Law of Attraction and that is actually the problem. They are trying too hard.

The Law of Attraction is really a simple law but being human, we tend to complicate things.

You want to “just be” when using the Law of Attraction intentionally. Get a clear image in your head of what you desire. Create this image as if you are the architect planning a new home construction. Be excited about it and get as focused as possible. Every evening take some time to yourself where you can really focus on your image. Imagine having your desire, imagine what you are wearing, imagine it is happening right now, imagine going through the physical steps of the image, and then… let it go and just be. Putting all that strong feeling intention into your desire has started the motor running. The Universe has a good idea of what you want.

When you wake up in the morning and you have the time, you should focus again upon your desire. But even if you don’t have time for a second round think only of your desire with excitement when you do think of it.

If you begin to think how you don’t have your desire, you are focusing on your ‘don’t want’ and that will bring you what you don’t want. All through the day, when the thought of your desire comes to mind, think of it in the now and with happiness and joy that it is manifesting, and then let go and just be. Make sure that you focus once a day on what it is that you want and if you can focus more, go for it.

Just by having one visualization session a day, your desire will come to you as long as you don’t put any negative toward it. If you are feeling down and you think of your desire, you are sabotaging its arrival. Only think of your desire with joy.

You don’t have to watch every little thought that pops into your head in order for your desire to come to you. Just enjoying your day and expressing gratitude about life will do wonders. Trying too hard and watching every thought is actually attracting situations of control and of trying too hard.

Let the impatience go and let the Universe do its job. Just relax and enjoy life knowing full well the Universe is handling all that needs to be handled in order for you to have what you desire.
